MOVING CASTLE ACCESS THROUGH THE BUSINESS MAZE;
PRESIDENT, MIKE VIGNATO APPLIES 10 YEARS OF TECH EXPERIENCE
TO COLOCATION IN A MIXED MARKET

August 4th, 2008 (SAN DIEGO, CA) - As President of Castle Access, Mike Vignato has guided the company through the business technology maze, starting with the “dot-com bomb” through the rise of colocation to their position today as an industry leader in the field. “When Castle Access started in 2000, there were 17 or 18 colocation facilities in San Diego,” said Vignato. “Today, there are 6 or so, including our facility. The rest went out of business.” Vignato attributes the survival and expansion of Castle Access to an important commitment at the company’s core. “Castle Access holds an unwavering commitment to customer service,” he continued. “That has driven our success while others have failed.”

Vignato’s more than 10 years of experience in the Internet/computer field covers a range of product marketing and business development positions. Through his years with companies such as Yahoo and Akamai, Vignato developed a strong customer service background, which he has applied with great success at Castle Access. “Mike truly guides Castle Access on a daily basis through the ups and downs of the market,” said Mark Hopperton, CEO and Co-founder of Castle Access. “His insight and experience are invaluable to our operations.” Vignato takes steps to ensure customer loyalty through his attention to detail. “We help customers with growth planning at no charge, which really resonates with them,” he said. “We always explain the benefits and potential downfalls to them up-front. If they want a Super Turbo server, but their needs can be accommodated with a smaller, less expensive server, we advise them on that in an effort to save them money.” Vignato’s attention to detail has been witnessed on a larger scale in his leadership in coordinating Castle Access’ new 88,000 square-foot colocation facility.

Last year, Castle Access had its clients take a customer satisfaction survey to look for areas of improvement. The results came back with an unheard-of 98% of customers expressing satisfaction with the service provided by Castle Access. “Most industries resist customer satisfaction surveys because they are afraid of the results,” said Vignato. “We were confident that our results would show the success of our commitment to the highest level of customer service.” This attitude and leadership style has led Castle Access from its inception when much of the technology sector was falling by the wayside, through a massive expansion and into the company’s position of leadership today. “We provide protection to companies and individuals by ensuring their data remains secure, and that their business remains available online at all times,” said Vignato. “It is this security along with our commitment to service that keeps our customers happy, and keeps attracting new customers.”

Castle Access is the leading Southern California provider of Tier III, Enterprise-grade Data Centers (“EDCs”), offering customized colocation solutions, network security and bandwidth-neutral network connectivity with the addition of a new 88,000 square foot colocation facility. Castle Access provides unsurpassed power availability, HVAC, security, dual NOC and network diversity for Enterprise clients, solution providers, content providers and telecommunication carriers.

Castle Access is preparing to release the first 10,000 square feet of their new colocation space November 1st, 2008, located at 12270 World Trade Dr. in Rancho Bernardo.

CASTLE ACCESS CONTINUES RISE AS LEADER IN THE COLOCATION FIELD;
COMPANY THRIVES IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA TECHNOLOGY BUSINESS MAZE

August 4th, 2008 (SAN DIEGO, CA) - Castle Access, Southern California’s leading provider of Tier III enterprise data centers, has risen to its leadership position in the network connectivity and colocation sectors in a mere eight years or existence. In a competitive field that has seen challenges since the “dot com bomb” of the late 1990’s, Castle Access has employed strategic technological advantages and a commitment to the highest level of customer service in order to earn their clients trust. “Through our bandwidth-neutral approach, we have offered our customers a cost-effective solution to network connectivity,” said Mike Vignato, President and Co-founder of Castle Access. “This has really spurred our rapid growth in the marketplace.”

“Colocation really took off around 1994 or 1995 due to the rise of the internet,” said Vignato. “Especially when E-business became prevalent, companies needed their websites up and running 24/7. They needed bandwidth, power redundancy and data–the same things that are needed today.” Founded in 2000, Castle Access opened its doors in 2001 after the nine-month construction of its first facility. “Colocation provides the means that companies need for bandwidth and other technological musts, and we believed that we could provide it at the highest level of customer satisfaction….we still do,” he continued. As the 17 or 18 colocation facilities in San Diego in the mid-1990’s were eventually whittled down to the 6 or so that exist today, Castle Access saw an opportunity to flourish in a market that was desperate for the most efficient technology paired with the most effective customer service. “From the outset, we provided our customers with an accessible and friendly staff that went above and beyond to find solutions for their needs,” continued Vignato. “Our customer’s needs change over time, and we prepare them for that through free growth planning and counsel on total costs.”

Colocation has become a necessity, even for small and medium-sized businesses. “They need to offer the same accessibility to customers as larger companies’ websites do,” said Vignato. “Colocation has made this realistic and easy for these businesses.” Castle Access has successfully found their niche in the Southern California technology business profile, due in large part to their expansion over the past 8 years. The company recently announced the opening of a new 88,000 square-foot colocation facility in San Diego. “The colocation industry is rapidly growing, and our new facility strategically positions us at the center of that growth,” said Vignato. “What remains the same is that customers need secure and reliable servers and network connectivity. We continue to meet and exceed these needs on a daily basis.”

Castle Access is the leading Southern California provider of Tier III, Enterprise-grade Data Centers (“EDCs”), offering customized colocation solutions, network security and bandwidth-neutral network connectivity with the addition of a new 88,000 square foot colocation facility. CASTLE ACCESS, DATA CENTER APPOINTS JOHN GIAQUINTA VP OF SALES AND MARKETING;GIAQUINTA BRINGS UNIQUE SKILL SET AND 25 YEARS OF TELECOM EXPERIENCE

July 21st, 2008 (SAN DIEGO, CA) - (Castle Access), Southern California’s leading provider of Tier III, Enterprise-grade Data Centers, has announced the appointment of John Giaquinta to the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Giaquinta’s twenty-five years of experience in launching start-up telecommunication organizations and guiding Fortune 500 companies makes him uniquely qualified for the position with Castle Access. “I am honored to accept this new role with Castle Access,” said Giaquinta. “What attracted me was the stability of the company and the existing team of seasoned professionals that ran the organization. My previous experience as Vice President of two large telecommunication companies as well as running national sales organizations made the opportunity with Castle Access a natural fit.”

In addition to his VP positions with MFS Communications and BroadStream Communications, Giaquinta’s impressive list of accomplishments includes designing nationwide voice and data networks including call centers, data centers and switch centers and serving as Senior Director of Operations and Network Infrastructure for Wingcast, LLC, a joint venture between Qualcomm and Ford Motor Company. His involvement with Castle Access comes at a pivotal time for the company, which recently announced the development of its brand new 88,000 square foot colocation facility in San Diego. “We are pleased to bring John on board to lead our sales and marketing efforts,” said Mark Hopperton, CEO and Co-founder of Castle Access. “John’s history of success in the telecommunication industry and his expertise in data centers makes him a great match for Castle Access.”

One of Giaquinta’s primary roles in his new position will be to oversee and grow the leasing of Castle Access’ new colocation site in San Diego. “Our new 88,000 square foot facility in Rancho Bernardo will be the largest data center in San Diego offering fully customizable data center space up to 25,000 square feet with the largest amount of available power and HVAC,” said Giaquinta. “We decided to add an additional benefit for our colocation customers by making the center truly bandwidth neutral. This allows us to establish relationships with several national bandwidth providers to offer services directly to our colocation customers at a lower cost, without the data center adding a profit on top of the circuits. This will result in very low cost of occupancy at our center.” Giaquinta will be a member of the Executive Team of Castle Access, reporting directly to CEO Mark Hopperton.
